David Peet received his undergraduate degree in Sales and Marketing from California State University – Fresno. Since being an exchange student in The Netherlands in high school David has always had an interested in other cultures and foreign languages. David received a scholarship from Taiwan’s Ministry of Education and therefore studied International Business and Chinese in Taipei, Taiwan at Shir Fan Da Shue University for one year.
Upon completion of the program at Shr Fan Da Shwue David worked with Taiwan’s largest trading company, TOMA Enterprises at the Taipei World Trade Center for two years. David’s responsibility was directing all of TOMA’s North American and European Accounts.
Another business opportunity took David to Tokyo, Japan where he studied Japanese at Tokyo’s prestiges Nichi-bei Daigaku Japanese Language School. Upon completion of Nichi-bei Daigaku’s program David started in sales with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) Tokyo office. After three years in sales David moved into the account management division. His last account before returning to California was Deutche Bank’s Tokyo HQ.
Upon returning to California David worked for AmeriNet, a payment processor, in the capacity of Business Development/New Account Management. After seven years with AmeriNet David began working with Total Marketing Partners in Account Management.
David is involved in many organizations throughout the Palm Springs Valley. David sits on the Board of Directors for Stroke Recovery Center, Pegasus Riding Academy for the Handicapped, Gay Associated Youth, and Greenburg Family Foundation. David has sponsored and trained many valley youth to ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, 580 miles, in the AIDS/LifeCycle.
David resides in Palm Springs with his daughter, Kathryn Claire.
Jeff Hocker has been affiliated with the Gala Chair for the Opening Night of the Annenberg Theater with Elaine Paige, Gala committee member for the Equality California Annual Awards Gala, Publicist for the Human Rights Campaign Fund Garden Party, Walker in the Desert AIDS Project walk-a-thon, supporter of Gilda’s Club Desert Cities, The Stroke Recovery Center and many other local charities.
In Jeff's previous position as Director of Communications for the Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism, he was the spokesperson for the City of Palm Springs, the film & TV liaison and the GLBT liaison, traveling extensively worldwide to promote tourism through press trips, tradeshows and sales missions. During his tenure, tourism to Palm Springs grew by more than 45% in a post-911 environment. Jeff's responsibilities included branding, marketing, communications, and placing over $450K worth of advertising for the “Palm Springs Style” campaign of which he was the key person in the concept and development of the campaign.
Dawne Duncan is a marketing and fundraising professional who helps organizations strategize high-profile fundraising projects and implement effective branding solutions. With more than ten years of leadership experience, Dawne offers a vast professional history in corporate and foundation relations, event planning, media campaign management, development and implementation of revenue generating community services programs, and oversight of marketing projects and public relations.
Coachella Valley transplant five years ago from Oregon and a graduate of Portland State University with Bachelor of Science degree in public health and community education, her hobbies include cycling, yoga, and lively engagements of art and culture to fire the imagination. Favorite color is red, the color that advertisers will tell you commands the greatest attention.
Evelyn Vokal joined TMP on the opening day of the Palm Springs office in January, 2004.
Evelyn provides diverse support services, from managing extensive databases to graphic design and complex event planning and management. She adds to our team through her prior experience in information management, project planning, data base analysis and event management.
She moved from the frozen tundra of North Dakota to sunny Southern California to thaw out and to be able to excel in an environment that constantly offered variety and one in which she could utilize her creative skills.
Rhonda Jameson began working with TMP in 2006 to assist with the Rick Weiss Humanitarian Awards and the Palm Springs International Film Festival events.
Prior to coming to TMP she was President of a local concierge company specializing in events and luxury personal concierge services. There she planned and coordinated private events, parties, and custom itineraries for celebrities, top executives, and high-net worth individuals. She also served as executive assistant to the Vice-President of Bluefish Concierge (USA), the #1 luxury personal concierge company in the world. Before that she spent several years in the vacation rental industry as General Manager of a vacation rental company in Palm Springs, CA that managed over 100 properties, including two boutique hotels.
Coming to Southern California from NW Arkansas in 1976, she lived many years in Orange County and in Manhattan Beach, California before moving to Palm Springs in 1999. She is a constant student of history and her favorite pastime is family history research.
